On occasion, there’s a couple and a wedding I like SO much, it’s hard to even write their blog post! I just can’t quite encapsulate into words what a joy it was to photograph Evelyn and Patrick’s wedding! Their faith is living and active. Every moment of their service was intentional, intended to bring glory to God and to encourage both themselves and their guests to turn to Him. While their service was elevated, Evelyn and Patrick are so humble and charitable. They truly make their faith attractive to outsiders. The church was full of babies and children, which both Evelyn and Patrick took time to make feel special. They didn’t do this as a “photo op”, but in a such a natural and caring way! I am so, so glad we have pictures to remind these children how much their aunt and uncle loved them – and when all these babies grow up, they will see how welcome they were! For me, the first tears of the day came when Patrick met the ring bearer halfway down the aisle to gently hug him and take the rings. I cried again on Monday, as I was going through images saw how Evelyn took time during her big exit to slow down and greet her little nephew. Evelyn and Patrick will walk through their lives showing kindness to others. That kindness will be reflected back by many, so I know they will live a life of joy and peace, no matter what may come. What an incredible honor to be there at the very beginning!!! Congratulations to Evelyn and Patrick and your beautiful families! We hope you love these images as much as we loved being there!
