When I went to a photography training course in Dallas, Texas when I was 18 I never imagined I would make some life-long friends, but that’s what happened.  Megan lived only 2 hours from me, and after the week was over we kept in touch.  We went on a backpacking trip together in Europe before either of us was married, helped each other photograph weddings, and then got married a little over a year apart.  I moved to Maryland and she moved, well, all over the US.  When she messaged me about three years ago and said she and Matt were moving to the area, I was so excited!  And now that she bought a house less than 15 minutes from me, it’s even better. 🙂

When Megan told me she was pregnant I was beyond thrilled for her and Matt.  They’re an amazing couple and going to be the best parents to their little baby girl. Megan, you’re a gorgeous mama and I can’t wait to meet your sweet little girl in just a few weeks!!

We decided to do Megan’s maternity photos in her nursery at her house.  Megan has a gift for interior design and I knew her nursery would be adorable.  It also has great light, which made it the perfect place for these photos!
