Okazaki Shrine

Okazaki Shrine is popular with women because Susanoo-no-Mikoto is worshiped there, who is considered the patron of love and marriage (well, including, google if you're interested), as his heroic deed helped him win the hand of Kushinadahime. And women come here not only to pray, to find a partner for life and start a family, but also because of the decoration and amulets. Everywhere in the sanctuary are images of the cutest rabbits. Therefore, Okazaki Shrine is also called the Rabbit Temple. Why rabbits? In fact, the shrine's full name, Higashi Tennō Okazaki, comes from the fact that the shrine is east of the Kyoto Imperial Palace, and east is the direction of the rabbit according to the Chinese zodiac.
