Last week I had the pleasure of going to Chelsea’s home studio and photographing her at work painting and doing acrylic pouring. It was such a fun session and I’m so excited to share these! As we were talking and planning the photos she wanted to show her personal brand, we knew we had to include a few things that really told the story of who she is: painting with her kids, colors of the beach, having a glass of wine as she paints, and her newest venture – acrylic pouring! I’ve never seen this done before and loved watching the process!
Chelsea is inspired by the beach and the all the beautiful colors that draw you in. (Fun fact: Chelsea was 18 before she ever saw the ocean and she promptly learned to surf!) We knew we wanted to include all of those colors in the session, and she made it so easy! We just walked around her house and grabbed a lot of paintings right off her walls to use as a backdrop for these photos! If you want to see amazing inspiration, check out her website and Facebook page. You’ll love what you see! Also, if you want one of her paintings, she’s going to be doing a gallery show sometime soon, so make sure you follow her to find out when and where!
And now onto the photos!!
I mean, this is really the only photo you need, right?!? Such a sweet little girl!!
If you ever get a chance to see this in action, definitely take it!! Super, super cool process to make an amazing photo!!
If you know of someone who needs some photos to promote their business, feel free to let me know! I’ve just started this section of our business and am finding that I love it so much. We’re telling stories, just like we do for our weddings, only we’re telling the stories of businesses. Personal brand photography is becoming more and more popular, and I’ll be writing a few blog posts on what all it includes in the next few weeks. In the meantime, if you have any questions about what all this entails, feel free to contact me!
