On March 11, a Reddit user posted a spaghetti meme created using the Russian site Ostagram. The service works on the basis of a neural network and combines the original photo and a picture with a texture into a single image. Previously, Ostagram has already been used to remake memes - in 2016, they used it to process a photo of Trump, and in 2017, they turned the template with the “Unfaithful guy” into paste.

In March 2019, social networks began to revive outdated memes and remake them into spaghetti. Soon, beans, potatoes, nuts, and even moss were used instead of pasta, and spaghetti and bean filters flooded the Ostagram home page.
